Is Reverse Phone Detective For You?
By norman | October 26, 2009
Have you also been through phone calls coming at most inappropriate time. It always happens; I sit down to eat with my family and someone calls me. We try to not answer any calls when we are having the evening meal, but once we are done I will check the calls to see who was trying to contact us. On many nights, there are countless phone calls but no messages.
In the past I left it at that, departed from the situation, and continued watching the numbers remain unchanged from day to day. Very few times when I call back I get someone I’d like to talk to, but other times I don’t. Sometimes I get computer noises or reach someone in India.
One of my boys really advised that I do a reverse phone lookup to find out who it was that called me. I thought the phrase sounded like something out of Law&Order. I was able to find a reverse phone lookup program online after doing a quick search.
I wanted to locate the number of an irksome telematketer, so I checked a reverse directory on the web. I found that by being nice to them when I called them back and asked to be removed from their call list worked better than my yelling at them did.
I used the reverse online lookup service to call back some old friends. I am glad that i talked to them, but it makes me wonder how many similar calls I missed that I wished I had received.
I am a big fan of the reverse phone directory available on the internet.
If you take time to watch the Reverse Phone Detective video it will reveal some cool things. There were a ton of other features beside the simple reverse phone number lookup — some stuff that really sounded like detective tools:
* Stop annoying telemarketers
* Find prank callers
* Research numbers that pop up on your phone bill
* Find someone’s address with their phone number
* Research missed calls on your caller ID that you don’t recognize
* Use old numbers to find old friends
* Reverse cell phone lookup and landline lookup
Aside from the number lookup, there were lots of other features, including some that seemed like real detective tools; I could imagine it being put to good use checking up on your kids or your spouse’s activities. I only used it to locate a couple friends and tell off telemarketers.
The information stored in public records should be up dated regularly. So that many services can use the records and give their service to the appropriate persons. Your privacy can be enhanced with the Reverse Phone Detective. The “opt-out” of the online phone directory service is available for your use.
